General Information:

      Inter-Academia 2009 is the continuation of successful series of topical, truly international conferences which started in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2002 and since that time of serving the Inter-Academic community were organized in various European countries and Japan.


    Conference Focus

      The main goals of this conferences are to provide a well set up international forum to review and stimulate the progress in basic and applied research on nanotechnology, mechatronics and multimedia techniques, to facilitate the exchange of innovatory ideas and to establish new scientific contacts and international consortium aimed at solving outstanding basic and applied problems.
   The conference have also served educational purposes by attracting post-graduate students from various countries.

Two busses provided by the organizers will leave the Chopin Airport in Warsaw at 19.30 on 13.09.2009 and arrive to Kazimierz late in the evening.



       Kazimierz Dolny is located about 130 km southeast of Warsaw (airport WAW), about 250 km northeast of Krakow (airport KRK).
   There is no train in Kazimierz Dolny. The closest to Kazimierz Dolny railway station is located in city of Pulawy (Pulawy Miasto) - approx. 15 km north of Kazimierz Dolny. (Check your train to Pulawy: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en). From Pulawy you can get a bus (PKS - read the next tip) or a taxi.    If you intend to drive to Kazimierz Dolny, head towards Pulawy (120 km south-east of Warsaw, or 50km north-west of Lublin), and then look for the minor route #824 that goes straight south of Pulawy. From route #824 choose one of the 'sub-minor' country roads. Kazimierz Dolny is about 15 km south of Pulawy.
